Born and raised in Puerto Rico, C.E. Santiago weaves her heritage in everything she writes—whether it’s a feast inspired by Boricua foods or an epic battle scene on a tropical beach. She has been scribbling and dreaming up stories about fantasy worlds inspired by Caribbean/Latin American lore since she was a little girl. She wrote her first novel during Hurricane Maria’s aftermath.
